Anonymous points collection — privacy addendum

This page summarizes how anonymous points are handled on agykarbantarto.hu. It complements our Hungarian privacy notice available at /adatvedelem.

1) What is collected in anonymous mode

• Anonymous identifier cookie (anon_id, technical UUID),
• points collected during quiz activity,
• technical activity timestamps (for example: creation and last activity time),
• quiz completion records linked to the anonymous identifier.

2) Retention period

By default, anonymous points-related data is retained for 30 days. After the retention period, anonymous records and linked technical records may be deleted automatically.

3) Merging points after sign-in

When a user signs in or registers, points collected in anonymous mode may be merged into the authenticated account to preserve previously collected points.

4) Cookie information

The anon_id cookie is used for technical service continuity (anonymous progress and points continuity across visits). It is not used as a direct real-name identifier.

5) Data subject rights

You may request information about processing and request deletion where applicable. If the anonymous identifier is deleted or lost, anonymous points may not be recoverable.
